Compensation + Bonus:
Licensed (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW): $35.87 - $51.61/hour Associate (LMHCA, LMFTA, LSWAIC, LASW): $31.32 - $45.09/hour $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (available to eligible external candidates meeting experience requirements) Compensation is determined based on licensure level, experience, and qualifications. Bonus subject to applicable terms and conditions.

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our behavioral health team. This opportunity is open to both licensed clinicians and associate-level therapists working toward independent licensure. Providers must meet the Washington State definition of a Mental Health Professional.

Licensed Mental Health Professional Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric/psychosocial assessments, including mental status exams
  • Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy
  • Deliver evidence-based and supportive interventions (CBT, skills training, etc.)
  • Monitor patient outcomes and evaluate treatment effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical team and referral sources
Licensed Mental Health Professional Requirements
  • Active WA license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW)
  • Master's degree in behavioral health field
Associate Mental Health Professional Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered counseling, advocacy, and case management
  • Develop treatment plans with measurable outcomes
  • Deliver individual and/or group therapy under supervision
  • Tailor interventions to meet diverse patient needs
  • Maintain documentation and meet agency standards
  • Collaborate with care team and support patient care coordination
Associate Mental Health Professional Requirements
  • Active WA associate license (LMHCA, LMFTA, LSWAIC, LASW)
  • Eligible for and participating in clinical supervision
  • Master's degree in behavioral health field
Position Summary

The Licensed Mental Health Professional is a key role within the behavioral health department of Multi Care, responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for patients. Treating a broad array of behavioral health disorders, mental illness and co-occurring illnesses, within this role you will be able to apply evidenced-based and evidence-informed outpatient therapy and clinical service skill sets in your daily work functions.

Responsibilities:
You will complete psychiatric or psychosocial assessments, including mental status exams. You will develop with the individual in service, an assessment and comprehensive treatment plan that identifies the unique needs of each individual and may provide individual, couples, family, psychoeducation, and group therapy. You will provide psychotherapy, supportive therapy, i.e. problem solving, role-playing, modeling and support, social skill development, and assertiveness training to increase patient social and interpersonal activities in community settings.

You will document all encounters inpatient electronic health record according to organization policies and procedures; monitor outcome measurements. You will collaborate with referral sources and other members of the patient's clinical team. You will provide ongoing measurement of the individual in service outcomes and evaluation of intervention effectiveness.

Requirements:
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held:
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW).
