We will assist you with on-the-job training to help you reach your goals as an Ophthalmic Technician. Empire Eye Clinic fosters growth as you will be exposed to a wide variety of optical cases, on-the-job training, and partnering with our diverse staff, surgeons, and physicians.

• Assist providers in performing clinical functions such as ophthalmic procedures, room flow, and status communication to the patient and provider
• Ensures the patient understands all instructions.
• Take and document patients' medical histories.
• Operates ophthalmic equipment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain ophthalmic instruments or equipment.

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Problem-solving math skills
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite
• Effectively work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated multitasking and adaptability
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with communication via phone, internet, and in-person
• Ability to maintain and follow HIPAA procedures and policies

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferred

• Competitive Salary $19.96 -$28.17 hr DOE
