Working as the sole School Psychologist in a high school, you’ll have the chance to engage with students and staff from diverse backgrounds, contributing to a rich tapestry of professional experiences. You’ll collaborate with educational leaders, experience a range of cognitive and behavioral approaches, and refine your skills across various evaluation scenarios—typically conducting 50-60 evaluations per school year. Qualifications
  • Active School Psychologist credential with ESA certification
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based psychological services at the high school level
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple evaluations and student needs

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations (typically 50-60 per year)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services
  • Contribute to IEP processes and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards
