American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a busy IR lab, requiring 2+ years of applicable IR experience and ARRT (VI) or CCI RCIS certification.

• Interventional Radiology and Hybrid OR work setting within a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center teaching hospital
• Scrub position supporting a busy IR lab
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekend on-call coverage and rotating weekly evening on-call required
• No floating between units within the facility, though floating between sister facilities nearby may be expected
• Uses Epic for charting
• Equipment used may include fluoroscopy, 3D imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound, GE Innova IGS, Philips, and Siemens systems

• Minimum 2 years of applicable IR experience as an ARRT (VI) technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist, or as an ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience
• ARRT (VI) or CCI RCIS certification required, with ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS certification required
• WA state license required if applicable
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency in sterile scrub technique and maintaining a sterile field
• Experience with venous access, vascular closure systems, and a wide range of IR procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular studies
• Skilled in EKG lead placement, equipment set up, and accurate patient monitoring during procedures
• Must provide response regarding any prior employment history with Providence facilities
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placements, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and vascular access procedures
• Responsibilities include room circulation, equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and inventory/supply management
• Lead tech or management/lead experience is a plus
• Experience with dialysis graft procedures, TIPS, and pediatric interventional radiology is preferred
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the offer process; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence perm staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• No fee for parking
