Wage: $28-31 DOE
Duties & Responsibilities- Collates census information for all residents to ensure accurate and timely reporting in the EHR
- Reconciles census on a daily basis
- Inputs resident financial information into the EHR and maintains accurate and complete financial data for each resident
- Timely collection of accounts receivable and follows up directly with slow payers
- Maintains trust account records to include opening accounts for residents at their request and closing accounts at time of discharge
- Provides statements for residents in a timely manner
- Update company AR department on all resident liability, payors, and concerns with payment
- Coordinate Medicare Advantage appeals process in accordance with corporate policy
- Assist residents in applying to long term Medicaid services
- Reviews monthly billing statements with MDS Specialist to ensure accuracy of reimbursement
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) on resident care conferences
- Discuss alternative solutions for non-payors with IDT
- Attend all IDT meetings as necessary
- Complete trainings as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in long term care facility preferred
- Strong initiative to perform all tasks above expectation
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
