We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Business Office Manager (BOM) possessing high leadership skills and who is looking to be challenged in their career. Wage: $28-31 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collates census information for all residents to ensure accurate and timely reporting in the EHR
  • Reconciles census on a daily basis
  • Inputs resident financial information into the EHR and maintains accurate and complete financial data for each resident
  • Timely collection of accounts receivable and follows up directly with slow payers
  • Maintains trust account records to include opening accounts for residents at their request and closing accounts at time of discharge
  • Provides statements for residents in a timely manner
  • Update company AR department on all resident liability, payors, and concerns with payment
  • Coordinate Medicare Advantage appeals process in accordance with corporate policy
  • Assist residents in applying to long term Medicaid services
  • Reviews monthly billing statements with MDS Specialist to ensure accuracy of reimbursement
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) on resident care conferences
  • Discuss alternative solutions for non-payors with IDT
Additional Duties
  • Attend all IDT meetings as necessary
  • Complete trainings as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in long term care facility preferred
  • Strong initiative to perform all tasks above expectation
  • Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
