Speech Language Pathologist; SLP) in Belfair, WA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, shaping young learners’ futures at a thriving elementary-level early learning program. This full-time, on-site position is set to begin on or around August 24th and offers a dynamic schedule supporting students Monday through Friday (37.5 hours a week). While student days run from 9:10 am to 4:00 pm, staff arrive at 8:45 am and finish at 4:15 pm to support all essential daily functions—including evaluation meetings and IEP sessions held before or after student hours.

You’ll play a vital role across diverse areas, from Developmental Preschool (with no student attendance on Wednesdays) to providing itinerant services, conducting Child Find Evaluations, and potentially supporting Transition to Kindergarten initiatives based on caseload needs. Your expertise will help ensure students achieve their full communicative potential in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Background with early childhood/pre-K and elementary populations ideal
• Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Effective communication, organization, and time management skills

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, both in early learning and itinerant settings
• Conduct timely evaluations and assessments, including Child Find screenings
• Lead and participate in IEP development meetings before/after student hours
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Offer possible Transition to Kindergarten support based on caseload
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and progress reports
