Job Description

This contract opportunity begins September 2nd and runs through June 16th, offering a schedule of three days per week (7.5 hours each day), providing a balanced workweek and ample time for professional focus and personal commitments.

Key Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Washington State ESA credential (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven experience collaborating with educators, families, and other school professionals
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Ability to interpret psychological assessments and create actionable recommendations
• Understanding of special education laws and procedures

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to support student learning and overall well-being
• Provide support in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and 504 plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design effective interventions
• Consult on academic and behavioral concerns, offering evidence-based solutions
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary and eligibility teams
• Facilitate crisis interventions and provide social-emotional counseling as needed
