Job Details
Compensation: $18.00 - $18.13 per hour plus tips.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests, including parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, delivering messages, and providing information on tourism or facility amenities.
Essential Functions- Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
- Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names.
- Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location; practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette.
- Parking and retrieving vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage.
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions.
- Delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations.
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests; issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys; collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys.
- Completes ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt; calculates and collects revenue for vehicles as needed.
- The total amount of time for all functions of the job is 100%.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Licensure:
Valid driver's license for the state of employment. - Work Experience:
One month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge:
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Skills:
Read/write standard English; comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; present information in one-on-one and small group settings; perform simple arithmetic with U.S. currency; understand 24‑hour and military time; understand rates applicable to time passed; operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
The job is fairly routine; incumbents follow established practices and procedures; decisions made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines; errors may affect smooth operation of the department.

Working Conditions & Physical DemandsRequired to sit or stand for extended periods and may need to run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Good vision required. Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly. Work may be outdoors under extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
