Job Description:
Join our James‑Beard award‑winning team as a Host at one of our Washington, D.C. Michelin‑starred restaurants:
Rose’s Luxury, Little Pearl, Pineapple & Pearls, and our international events company Extra Fancy.
We are looking for a hospitality‑focused individual who is dependable, motivated to learn, and committed to working as a team member. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide warm, authentic service to guests each night are essential.
Responsibilities:- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, creating a welcoming first impression.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using phone, online booking systems, or in‑person inquiries.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and offer initial hospitality.
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area.
- Support front‑of‑house team members—servers, bussers, and managers—to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Monitor dining room activity and table turnover, updating the floor chart in real time.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and guest privacy protocols.
Hospitality‑focused background in service; dependable, motivated to learn; excellent communication skills; willingness and ability to provide authentically warm service each night.
