The Opportunity
  • Human Resources Coordinator at a growth‑oriented downstream energy company
  • You’ll play an essential role in supporting more than 30 retail locations and help create a workplace where employees can thrive.

  • Partner with leaders and employees to help create a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the HR Coordinator position will provide administrative support in all functions of the human resource department.
Key Activities
  • Provide human resources support for employees on a wide range of HR tasks and projects
  • Ensure compliance in all personnel files for Employee Records, Medical, Benefits, Worker's Comp, Reports, I-9 E-Verify and Voluntary Identification files
  • Perform payroll function including timesheets, personnel transactions, payroll requests, adjustments and audits
  • Maintain an accurate Human Resource Information System (HRIS), e.g., process employee updates and changes and generate various reports
  • Administer employee leave including FMLA, HFLL, TDI, LTD and Worker's Compensation
  • Assist employees with daily inquiries, verification of employment, service awards and policies
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and off boarding of employees
  • Adopt, participate and comply with company policies, procedures and safety programs
  • Generate requisitions, process bills and invoices for HR vendors
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel issues and other information
  • Build strong working relationships with organizational leaders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ human resources experience.
  • Work in office Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Strong understanding of HR Law including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, ADEA; preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize; preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers; preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving and creativity skills; preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); preferred.
  • Experience with various applications and databases; preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Hiring range: $66,915 to $87,825 plus discretionary bonus. The candidate selected will be placed according to skills and qualifications.
