Human Resources Coordinator –
Spokane, WA

We are looking for a people‑focused coordinator to support a range of HR functions across the organization.
- Collaborate with the HR team to promote associate engagement and maintain a people‑focused culture.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all associates regarding HR inquiries.
- Own the onboarding process: pre‑employment screening, new‑hire records, and coordination with departments for a seamless first‑day experience.
- Complete, verify, and maintain I‑9 documentation.
- Manage uniform and welcome gift inventory, including ordering, distribution, and inventory tracking.
- Design and facilitate new‑hire orientation.
- Conduct audits in biweekly payroll to ensure accurate incentive plan payouts, benefits, and other HR programs; provide corrective action as needed.
- Assist the recruiting team with job postings, intake calls, interview scheduling, metrics tracking, and applicant disposition.
- Organise, maintain, and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS) and provide technical support to associates.
- Prepare materials and help organise associate performance review, salary review, and benefit open enrollment periods.
- Act as a backup benefit administrator, responding to general insurance inquiries and requests for insurance cards.
- Support HR in the offboarding process.
- Assist with compliance and reporting.
- Provide general office support to the HR team.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and Fair Housing laws.

- Initiative to work independently when required.
- Ability to handle confidential data.

- Capability to manage a wide range of relationships with associates and department managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred;
Associate’s degree required. - Minimum 1 year of relevant HR experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), HRIS, LMS, ATS and other relevant programs.
- Valid driver’s licence and insured, operable vehicle.
- Competitive pay: $26–$28 per hour, based on experience.
