Job Description

The HR Representative is a Regular, Full-Time administrative position working onsite Monday-Friday during regular business hours 8am-5pm at the Inland Imaging Business Center located in downtown Spokane.

Job Summary

This role is designed as an entry level HR position with potential future growth opportunities.

General Description

The HR Representative supports the Human Resources team in delivering high-quality HR services to Inland Imaging and affiliated companies. This position serves as a key administrative and operational resource for the department, assisting with employee records, employee event planning, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance activities, employee health documentation, reporting, and general HR support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and interested in developing a long-term career in Human Resources.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Monitor and respond to HR inboxes and phone calls.
  • Maintain employee files, HR records, and confidential documentation.
  • Assist with recruiting activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding.
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications.
  • Support leave administration, employee health tracking, and compliance-related recordkeeping.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and HR metrics.
  • Schedule meetings, training sessions, and employee appointments.
  • Responsible for coordination of employee events.
  • Assist with policy updates, document revisions, and departmental projects.
  • Support safety, wellness, and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain licensure, certification, and training compliance records.
  • Assist with job description, and organizational documentation projects.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations, investigations, and performance management processes.
  • Perform scanning, filing, document retention, and other administrative functions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Daily monitoring of Service Now (SNOW) requests.
General Duties / Responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality within the Inland Imaging companies and Inland’s customers.
  • Honest, pleasant manner and good personal hygiene.
  • Free of alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Ability to access multiple worksites in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented; ability to multi-task; organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates self-directed learning and participation in continuing education through professional journals, approved seminars, etc.
  • Adheres to departmental standards and personnel policies by demonstrating professional demeanor in conduct and appearance.
  • Follows company departmental standards and personnel policies by using good teamwork and communication skills to help identify concerns and solutions, assisting where needed to ensure a smoothly functioning department.
  • Follows all Health and Safety policies and guidelines of Inland Imaging and its partners depending on work location.
  • Performs other duties as required by displaying team spirit and self-growth, accepting and performing other projects and responsibilities, and requesting other projects and responsibilities.
  • Attendance is required for this position.
  • Rotates to other shifts and locations as needed.

Successful incumbents will have opportunities to develop skills in employee relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, performance management, policy development, and other HR Generalist responsibilities.
