HR Intern

Description

As an HR Intern you will be responsible for supporting Human Resources in various administrative and project-based tasks across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain exposure to core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance and employee engagement.

• Maintain accurate and confidential HR documentation, including employee and candidate records, payroll files, and compliance materials.
• Support recruitment and onboarding by creating job postings, reviewing resumes, assisting with screenings, coordinating background and reference checks, and helping facilitate new hire orientation.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives by organizing activities and supporting the planning and execution of company‑wide events.
• Participate in workplace safety initiatives by supporting the HR team and Safety Committee through meetings and related activities.
• Assist with payroll administration by reviewing employee timecards and supporting accurate, timely payroll processing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite or similar program
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Able to quickly adapt to a changing environment

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
