We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data & AI consulting team to help architect and build out modern data estates for our clients. Primary responsibilities focus on post-sales delivery and strategy of data solutions to our clients.
What You’ll Do- Design, implement, and optimize data solutions for our clients.
- Deploy data platforms in a medallion architecture for Cerium clients.
- Leverage advanced data architectures to modernize our clients’ data estates to better integrate with Generative AI platforms.
- Create data pipelines, develop data models, and provide strategic insights through data analytics and visualization tools.
- Assist in the adoption of data technologies and provide training and documentation.
- Help define service offerings for Cerium to design, propose, and sell to clients including products and services to deliver.
- Support the presales and sales teams in designing and proposing solutions as needed. This includes providing technical consulting services to clients by presenting solutions and performing administrative handoffs to ensure smooth transitions post-implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, Information Technology, software engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and solution design.
- Must have experience with Microsoft data solutions, Fabric preferred.
- Experience consulting with clients and translating complex technical concepts into simple, understandable terms for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and clients simultaneously.
- Experience and interest in mentoring junior data professionals.
- Customer service skills and experience.
- Strong organization and documentation abilities.
- Willing to travel 10-20% of the time depending on client needs.
- Certifications across data solutions preferred but not required:
Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Science Associate. - Experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Compensation- Pay Range: $110,000 to $150,000
- Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
