This is a Corporate position which may be located in an available bank division across our nine-state footprint in AZ, CO, , MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $34.14+ / hour (calculated for Kalispell, MT).
Responsibilities- As a member of the Glacier Solutions Development ("GSD") team, the Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. The primary focus is to test and perform quality assurance (QA) validation on business process solutions for assigned application(s) throughout the development lifecycle.
- Test and support workflow-driven system processes provided by the bank, such as Lending, Teller, New Accounts, Compliance, Fraud, and Core Banking interface solutions.
- Keep all relevant technical documentation up to date as assigned.
- Participate in testing for new systems, releases, new features, enhancements, and break/fix solutions.
- Work in cross-functional teams to provide QA and testing support for new or current production systems on project and strategic efforts, following industry-standard waterfall and agile development/project delivery life cycles.
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail, a passion for quality, accurate documentation, and embrace repeatable processes; adhere to structured software change and release management processes and procedures.
- Represent the IT Department to all levels of bank groups and management, requiring professionalism and diplomacy.
About You
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty as required. The role is expected to execute on quality assurance testing scripts, test plans, and defect management for software products and releases that impact the organization s business services and operations.
- Execute on QA testing and create/maintain documentation on testing validation, bugs, and QA reviews.
- Execute effective and efficient testing scenarios and use testing tools or collaborate with third parties as needed.
- Uphold all Standard Operating Procedures as outlined in policy, procedures, and standards.
- Analyze and translate business and functional requirements into accurate testing cases.
- Provide judgment, advice, recommendations, and best practices on systems to help senior management make informed decisions.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC). Complete assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by the due date.

Wenatchee $38.66 to $58.01 per hour.
