Product Design Lead

Position Summary

The Product Designer will help establish product design as a core capability within our product operating model. This role will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data Labs, and Digital Client Experience & Product Support to discover, prototype, test, and improve product experiences across Ignitium’s portfolio.

As part of the product trio, the Product Designer is accountable for usability and for helping the team discover solutions that customers can understand, trust, and use. This includes designing internal workflows, client-facing dashboards, portals, insight experiences, and product interactions that support Ignitium’s mission to orchestrate Account-Based Experiences that drive revenue.

This is not a production design or visual design-only role. The Product Designer will be expected to work upstream in discovery, engage with users, translate complex data and workflows into intuitive experiences, and establish reusable design standards as Ignitium scales its product operating model.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Labs as part of the product trio to discover solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable.
• Participate early in opportunity framing, problem definition, solution exploration, prototyping, and user validation.
• Translate ambiguous customer and business problems into clear workflows, experience concepts, and testable prototypes.

• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, prototype reviews, and feedback sessions with internal users, clients, and GTM stakeholders.
• Synthesize findings into clear insights and recommendations that inform product decisions.
• Help establish a regular cadence of customer and user touchpoints.

• Design intuitive workflows, interfaces, dashboards, portals, and product interactions across Ignitium’s product portfolio.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, workflow diagrams, and interaction patterns to communicate design direction.
• Ensure product experiences are clear, consistent, accessible, and aligned to user needs.

• Design data-rich experiences that help users understand account engagement, media performance, buyer signals, attribution, pipeline impact, and recommended actions.
• Partner with Data Labs and Product Experience to ensure dashboards and insight experiences are usable, trusted, and actionable.

• Establish lightweight design standards, reusable patterns, and documentation for Ignitium’s product experience.
• Partner with DCX to improve consistency across client dashboards, portals, and internal QA/XOC experiences.
• Help create scalable design practices that reduce rework and improve launch quality.
• Use product analytics, user feedback, support patterns, and client insights to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Help turn recurring usability issues and support escalations into scalable product improvements.

• Participate in client and internal user discovery sessions.
• Support product documentation related to workflows, user experience, design standards, and launch readiness.
• Participate in product team ceremonies, discovery reviews, design critiques, and launch readiness discussions.
• Support enablement by helping explain new product experiences and user workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Support to understand recurring usability issues and client friction.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and usability testing.
• Experience designing B2B SaaS, enterprise software, analytics products, dashboards, workflow tools, or data-rich applications.
• Ability to work from ambiguous business and customer problems, not only predefined requirements.
• Strong prototyping skills using tools such as Lovable, Claude.ai, Figma, Lucid, Miro, or similar tools.
