Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced IT Contractor to support the IT Enterprise Applications team in a GxP-regulated biotech environment. This role will provide hands‑on administration, operational support, and user assistance across a portfolio of enterprise applications that support R&D functions, with a primary focus on Veeva Vault and other validated systems. The contractor will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, supporting end users, managing ticket queues, and assisting with system enhancements and compliance activities.
This role works closely with Enterprise Applications team members and business stakeholders to maintain efficient, compliant, and scalable systems.
- Provide day‑to‑day administration and support for Veeva Vault applications (Clinical, Quality, Regulatory)
- Manage user access, roles, and security configurations
- Support document lifecycle management, workflows, and configuration updates
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Veeva support and vendors
- Assist with system enhancements (objects, workflows, reporting)
- Support administration of additional Enterprise Applications used in GxP environments (CTMS, eTMF, QMS, Regulatory systems)
- Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and data integrity checks
- Support change control processes, including documentation and implementation
- Assist with Computer System Validation (CSV) activities (UAT coordination, test execution, documentation support)
- Ensure systems operate in compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 11)
- Act as a primary support resource for Enterprise Applications‑related tickets
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve user issues across supported systems
- Escalate issues to internal SMEs, Enterprise Applications team members, or vendors as needed
- Maintain accurate and complete ticket documentation
- Provide end‑user support, guidance, and training
- Identify trends in support requests and recommend improvements
- Assist with backlog management, request intake, and prioritization
- Support system releases, patches, and regression testing efforts
- Coordinate with vendors, IT, Validation, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to SOPs, knowledge base articles, and support documentation
- Help drive process improvements and standardization across supported applications
- 3–7+ years of experience supporting IT systems in a GxP‑regulated life sciences environment
- Hands‑on experience with Veeva Vault administration
- Experience supporting other validated Enterprise Applications (CTMS, QMS, eTMF, Docusign Part 11, Egnyte)
- Strong experience with IT ticketing systems (Fresh Service, Jira, Service Now)
- Familiarity with CSV processes and validation documentation
- Understanding of GxP regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH) and data integrity principles
- Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences
