Manhattan Transportation Management (TMS) Testing Consultant

Spinnaker SCA is looking for a Manhattan Transportation Management (TMS) Testing Consultant to support a critical implementation initiative during its testing and go‑live phases. This full‑time role is tailor‑made for someone who knows the TMS landscape inside and out—especially Manhattan’s platform—and can ensure functionality, integration, and performance are fully validated before hitting the switch.

You’ll work at the intersection of IT, logistics operations, and carrier management—translating technical testing into business confidence. Here’s what you need to bring to the table:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain and transportation operations
• 2+ years specifically working with Manhattan TMS in a testing or implementation capacity
• Participation in at least 1 full‑cycle TMS implementation
• Familiarity with integration testing across ERP, WMS, and third‑party systems (carrier APIs, freight payment)

You’ll stand out if you also bring experience with:

• Proficiency using tools like JIRA, Service Now, or Test Rail for test case management and defect tracking
• Knowledge of key transportation processes and KPIs, including carrier management, rate procurement, freight audit & pay, and real‑time visibility
• Experience using analytics to identify testing gaps, performance trends, or business impact
• Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, and regression cycles

• Execute core system testing across routing, carrier selection, tendering, billing, and exception workflows
• Perform integration testing with ERP, WMS, APIs, and third‑party logistics systems
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination with business and logistics stakeholders
• Manage performance and security testing to validate system scalability and compliance
• Maintain a tight handle on defect management, tracking, and resolution
• Provide cutover, smoke test, and post‑go‑live validation support to ensure a stable deployment

Pay Range: $65, USD

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Spinnaker SCA. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
