Solution Architect - Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)

12-month contract to hire (Remote)

Brooksource is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the implementation of a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution for our new suite of digital applications supporting our Global Color team. This role requires extensive experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions in complex, large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and security practices, along with hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Okta and infrastructure as code technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement CIAM solutions for new digital applications within the Global Color team.
• Develop and execute architecture designs and roadmaps for security platforms.
• Implement and manage Identity orchestration tools, particularly Okta.
• Ensure robust security measures through the application of IAM protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and Kerberos.
• Apply expert knowledge of web security, encryption, and IAM concepts including SSO, Federation, and RBAC.
• Utilize Terraform or other "infrastructure as code" technologies to automate and manage infrastructure.
• Create and maintain microservice architecture designs, with a strong understanding of microservice patterns.
• Design and implement application security solutions.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions in complex, large-scale environments, focusing on customer identity.
• In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts such as SSO, Federation, RBAC.
• Expertise in IAM protocols: OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and Kerberos.
• Strong understanding of web security principles and encryption techniques.
• Hands-on experience with identity orchestration tools, particularly Okta.
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar "infrastructure as code" technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in creating architecture designs and security platform roadmaps.
• Experience in microservice design for complex systems and a strong understanding of microservice patterns.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure and its PaaS offerings.
• Proficiency in .NET or Java programming.
• Experience with SAP’s CIAM solution.
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
