Position Summary

We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Operations Specialist to serve a key role within our IT Department. This position combines hands‑on help desk support with critical administrative, operational, and organizational responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated problem‑solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats to support the overall efficiency of the IT team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support to end users, including basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage IT department data collection, tracking, and reporting to ensure accurate documentation and metrics.
  • Maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and playbooks to support consistent department.
  • Handle IT Shipping & Receiving activities, including inventory management, asset tracking, and coordination with vendors.
  • Support IT Purchasing processes, including requisitioning equipment, software licenses, and supplies.
  • Oversee information tracking and management across multiple IT systems and tools.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate IT asset inventories and records.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed within the IT department.
  • Participate in occasional travel (approximately 15%) for equipment deployment, site support, or training.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.
  • Strong familiarity with Office 365 administration and tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Determined, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exemplary customer service along with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT purchasing, shipping/receiving, and inventory processes is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining documentation, runbooks, or playbooks.
  • Interest in process improvement and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies and procedures.
  • This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to make a broad impact across the entire IT department.
