Solutions Architect - Unissant

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document the client’s existing IT architecture, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop target state architecture blueprints that align with federal regulations, security standards, and business objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost‑effective solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation) to automate provisioning and ensure repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate with program managers, developers, and security teams to translate requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise‑grade solutions on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53) and cloud security best practices.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.
