Data Analyst
Overview

PrincipalPurpose of Position
- Complete analysis and present results clearly.
- Interpret and analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
- Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Assist account managers and the central marketing team with understanding reports and data sets.
- Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for analytics and reporting systems.
- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods.
- Enhance existing data sets with third-party sources when needed.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in data science, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- 3-5 years of analytics or data science experience. Automotive or marketing experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Solid applied statistics skills (distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.).
- Data-oriented mindset and problem-solving capability.
- Analyze analytic dashboards/platforms and proactively recommend actions for the business unit.
- Identify trends and patterns in marketing technology data.
- Enhance and optimize reporting and analytics support for Holman businesses.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure data integrity for marketing reporting.
- Enrich conversations that account managers have with leadership teams.

- Starting pay range: $72,950.00 – $ USD annually for full-time employees (base pay, plus applicable compensation components).
