Senior Account Manager – Account Management & Service

• Service day-to-day client needs, including fielding phone calls, email, and other communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, and cancellations.
• Lead all aspects of the client renewal process: obtain updated information, manage marketing, negotiate terms and pricing, review quotes, present renewal numbers to Producers and clients, and handle invoicing.
• Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Delegate work to Associate Account Managers I & II and Account Managers I & II, monitoring progress and workload.
• Build and sustain relationships with underwriters, negotiate coverage, and aim for positive outcomes for clients.
• Complete proposals, bind coverage, review policies for accuracy, and create client policy summaries and binders.
• Set up and maintain electronic records and adhere to broker standards for file service and maintenance.
• Train, mentor, and collaborate with team members on coverage, exposures, and client knowledge.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active P&C Insurance Producer License.
• Minimum six years of insurance brokerage or property‑casualty experience, preferably in an account‑management role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet usage; experience with EPIC Agency Management System preferred.
• Outstanding customer‑service orientation and strong data‑entry abilities.
• Effective teamwork, organization, and follow‑up skills.
• Proven ability to train and mentor others.
• Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills.

The role requires a primarily seated work environment with frequent use of hands and computer. Employees may occasionally lift or move up to ten pounds. Close vision is required for computer use.

Expected salary range: $33 to $45 per hour, varying by geographic location and experience.
