Job Description Summary

The Homestead has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician! Our team members are high performers that care about customer service and exceed expectations. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in our success. This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

What Your Day Might Look Like
  • Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service
  • Completing resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner (including appliance repairs)
  • Preparing apartments for new move‑ins by completing “make‑ready” process
  • Maintaining cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas
  • Assisting with vendor management and other duties
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections for equipment
What We Are Looking For
  • Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
  • Previous experience with painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing
  • High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

Additional Compensation
  • Corporate Positions:
    In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions:
    In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
