Assistant Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Platt team in Spokane Valley, WA.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in day‑to‑day operations of the branch and serving as acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager. Responsibilities include inventory management, accounts payable, vendor returns, equipment and vehicle maintenance, and overall branch safety.

• Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the branch and act as manager when the Branch Manager is absent
• Manage inventory, including cycle counting, daily stock replenishment, inventory adjustments, and stocking codes and locations
• Ensure branch safety by reporting, monitoring, and correcting safety hazards
• Provide customer service at the counter or over the phone
• Maintain company vehicles by scheduling maintenance and repairs
• Coach and support employees in collaboration with the Branch Manager
• Support sales through quotations
• Maintain a clean and organized branch
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 1+ years of branch experience with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility (preferred)
• High School diploma or GED (required)

• Effective communication with co‑workers and customers
• Experience with Microsoft Office and the web
• Electrical product knowledge and general understanding of inventory management
• Sales and service orientation; self‑motivated, dependable, with excellent leadership and customer service skills
• Problem‑solving and report‑processing abilities

For the state of Washington only, the pay range is $24.00 to $30.20, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. Commission/Bonus Plan:
