Position Overview
Skanska is searching for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to serve project sites in Spokane, Pullman, Moses Lake and surrounding areas.
ResponsibilitiesIntegrate environmental health & safety services into business practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on the assigned project. Oversee EHS responsibilities of the project, working directly with EHS staff, superintendents, project manager, project executive, and area/regional EHS director. The role is project‑based.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls.
- 5+ years of safety role requiring communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience with a minimum of seven years relevant experience.
