Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

* As a Federal Contractor, Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana.

* 1+ Year of Press Brake Operator Experience required

* Must be able to speak, read and understand English

* Ability to work from verbal and written instructions

* Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure

What You Do:

* Technical authority for container fabrication and welding processes

* SME across MIG, TIG, and Flux-core welding

* Primary escalation point for weld quality, fit-up, and dimensional issues

* Sets standards for safety, quality, and fabrication best practice

* Lead complex container fabrication and critical weld structures

* Approve weld sequencing, fixturing, and distortion control methods

* Support engineering with design-for-manufacturability feedback

* Verify weld parameters and process controls

* Own weld inspection standards (visual and dimensional)

* Analyze rework, defects, and trends; implement countermeasures

* Train and qualify welders by process and application

* Support audits and customer or government inspections

* Lead cross-functional problem solving using A3

* Own welding CI roadmap for containers and small parts

* Lead kaizen events impacting safety, quality, and throughput

* Mentor Tier III welders and develop future leads
