Cannabis Grower - Entry Level

Spokane Valley, WA. Entry-level Cannabis Grower – Full-Time. Grow with Phat Panda, a company founded in 2014 with operations across California, Washington, and Massachusetts.

As a Cannabis Farm Worker, you’ll care for plants from veg to harvest, contributing to top-tier quality from seed to sale. This role involves hands-on work in a controlled indoor grow environment.

The cultivation facility is located in Spokane Valley, WA. Accessible via the I-90 corridor from surrounding areas.

  Less than a 10-minute drive (approx. 5–7 miles east via I-90

• Post Falls,
  -minute drive eastward across the WA-Idaho state line
• Airway Heights, WA: 20–25 minute drive down I-90 E
• Cheney, WA: 25–30 minute drive via I-90 E
• Coeur d’Alene,
  -minute drive via I-90 W

• Pruning, tipping, tucking, and training plants for optimal growth
• Supporting plants through life stages—from veg to bloom to harvest
• Mixing and applying nutrients and other inputs
• Sanitizing rooms and equipment to maintain cleanliness and compliance
• Assisting with grow room setups and environmental controls
• Assisting with harvests and post-harvest prep
• Supporting research and development projects related to cultivation
• Providing team support as needed within the cultivation department

• Must be 21 years or older

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, or cannabis cultivation is a plus
• Hardworking and eager to learn — training will be provided

• Stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)
• Perform repetitive hand movements (trimming, tucking, etc.)
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Occasionally climb, crouch, or crawl
• Have full color vision and visual acuity

• Love plants and don’t mind getting your hands dirty
• Stay focused with repetitive tasks
• Adapt quickly and follow the flow of the workflow
• Work well in a team and communicate clearly
• Care about doing things the right way, every time

• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, labeling software)
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to follow SOPs and prioritize tasks
• Willingness to take feedback and continuously improve
• Passion for cannabis and cultivation best practices

Our grow is a controlled indoor environment. You’ll be exposed to bright lights, warm and humid conditions, moderate noise, dust or airborne particles (PPE provided), and potential exposure to cleaning agents or fertilizers. The facility is a two-story warehouse; candidates must be comfortable using stairs and working at heights.

Location:

Spokane Valley, WA. Pay: $18.13/hour.

Schedule:

Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week. Full-time benefits after 90 days of employment.
