Job Overview
R Production Operator III – Spokane, WA (4230
E) – 11:30p.m. – 7:00a.m. Shift Differential. Pay: $23–$28.50 + Shift Differential. This role supports the safe handling, filling, and maintenance of pure medical‑grade gas products in high‑pressure and liquid cylinders, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Airgas SOPs.

- Support safe handling and filling of medical grade gases into high‑pressure and liquid gas cylinders.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling, sorting, and cylinder maintenance.
- Inspect cylinders before filling, following government, distributor, and company standards.
- Perform safety checks including odor tests, cap and valve inspections, and purity analyses.
- Prepare high‑pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling, attaching manifolds, evacuating cylinders, and ensuring elimination of contaminants.
- Fill cylinders to required pressure and weight as per regulations and standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading of cylinders on pallets and tractor trailers.
- Coordinate paperwork to meet DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards.
- Complete quality‑control sheets and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly plant appearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate forklifts safely.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and occasional overtime.
- Drug‑free workplace compliance and willingness to wear PPE.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in temperatures between –10°F and >110°F; lift 50+pounds routinely and up to >100pounds as needed.
- Capacity to stoop, bend, crawl, twist, kneel, or squat up to 33% of the day.
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, hazards, potential explosives, burns, electrical fumes, mist, dust, or odors.
