Overview

Hexcel is the industry leader in the manufacturing of advanced lightweight composite materials, including carbon fiber, woven reinforcements, resins, prepregs, honeycombs and engineered core and composite structures. We invite you to join the Hexcel team at various manufacturing sites, sales offices, and R&D centers around the globe. Hexcel is currently seeking a CNC Operator for our Burlington, WA location. Primary recruitment is for 2nd and 3rd shift.

No previous CNC experience required – we provide training. This position is for someone who enjoys technology, is detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and loves a team environment. Full‑time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and paid time off.

• Operate industrial equipment, primarily 5‑axis milling machines, band saws, industrial ovens, and other equipment.
• Prepare and load tools and parts onto the machines.
• Follow process and work instructions.
• Inspect product to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Work in a team environment to produce high‑quality composite parts in a timely manner.
• Work independently and with a high degree of detail and accuracy.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Applicants must present proof of U.S. person status prior to hire.
• Stable work history in manufacturing preferred; minimum six months hand and power tool experience preferred.
• Ability to work all shifts and a willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Post‑offer drug test required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 lbs., push or pull 40 lbs., and perform other duties as described.
