Sales Engineer – Public Safety. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to provide tailored solutions, conduct demonstrations, and support customers on the Silvus family of multi‑antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking products. The position supports 100% remote work, provided the candidate is located in the Washington Metropolitan area, and requires 25–50% travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations.

• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support including system planning, customer training, and system optimization.
• Develop expertise on Silvus’ radio and networking solutions and articulate advantages over competing technologies.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training.
• Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field.
• Collect and analyze field failures and abnormalities, providing feedback to the development team.
• Assist design engineers in reproducing and troubleshooting problems.
• Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support sales and business development activities.
• Help drive future product development based on customer and field insights.
• Perform related duties as representative of the role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field with at least 2 years of pre‑ and post‑sales technical support experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of similar experience.
• Proficiency with radio‑frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Must be based in the Washington Metropolitan area.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required for U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test.

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking.
• Experience operating and testing IP radios/modems.
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems, radio‑frequency signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Trade shows and outdoor demonstrations.
• Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing tests or demonstrations in the field.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for demonstration setup and testing.

$80,000 – $120,000 annual base salary plus commissions. Total on‑target earnings potential up to $170,000. Pay range is based on market research and will vary with experience and qualifications.
