Job Description:

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of GMP production areas and facility common spaces. This role performs routine cleaning, waste management, light maintenance, and facility support activities while ensuring compliance with GMP standards, site procedures, and safety requirements.

  • Maintain GMP cleaning and sanitation standards
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE usage
  • Support minor mechanical and equipment-related tasks
  • Operate and support mobile equipment as required
  • Utilize SAP CMMS for documenting work orders and tracking activities
  • Use MS Office (including Excel) for tracking, communication, or reporting purposes
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Support cross-functional teams with facility needs

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of custodial, facilities, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience in GMP or regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience using SAP CMMS or similar systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP cleaning standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and PPE usage.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel preferred).
  • Ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and support team operations.
  • Work performed in GMP manufacturing, warehouse, office, and facility environments required.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, waste materials, noise, and varying temperatures required.
  • Required use of PPE and compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation procedures required.
  • May enter controlled manufacturing and cleanroom environments as needed.

Spokane, WA — On Site, Full-Time
