Job Overview:
The primary role of a Production Specialist is to support the daily operations of lamination production. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor/Manager, the Production Specialist is responsible for guiding the team at start-up, filling out and reviewing prior days PSQDIC results, training and maintaining lamination personnel in applicable JSA/SWI trainings, and ensuring schedule and quality goals are maintained. The Production Specialist must be willing to fill in as an acting Supervisor, during leadership absences, up to and including booking POs and transferring material in Cantor, ensuring safety guidelines are followed and enforced, leading startup and kick-off meetings, ensuring personnel are productive and performing assigned tasks, and updating and reporting out laminate hourly production.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively support and participate in the company's safety and health program. Learn all Production Specialist Lamination roles as needed to support production needs daily. Understand the products we use and how to locate and stage in a way to maximize productivity. Be able to follow basic verbal and written instructions as provided by leads and supervisors in the department. Perform infeed and outfeed duties- loading and unloading the lamination equipment, operate all lamination equipment and be able to perform all associate IQC (Quality Checks) specific to each role.
Assist and train other team members through gathering materials, moving units, changing machine over and loading and unloading products. Assists co-workers in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments to perform work according to standard operating procedures. Follow documented Standard Work within their work cell/assigned area and "flex" to different positions to support production output in a professional manner.
Perform quality checks, finish products in full, and assist Be able to work/stand for full shifts and perform all duties as required for the Production Specialist role. Must be willing to do housekeeping including cleaning restrooms.
Position Requirements:
This role requires consistent physical activity throughout the shift, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with team assistance. Work may involve repetitive motions and working in a fast-paced assembly line manufacturing environment Employees must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day on hard surfaces.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing may be required to access materials and operate equipment. Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and labels Ability to work in hot, humid environments. Demonstrated proficiency in using metrology instruments and recording inspection data Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be always worn, and employees are expected to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Overtime may be required, sometimes on short notice, to meet production goals. Must meet daily production rates while maintaining quality standards for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Advancement opportunities are available, with a strong emphasis on promotion from within. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor or Manager as needed to support operations. Candidates must be comfortable working with both manual and powered tools commonly used in manufacturing and assembly environments.

Required
Skills and Experience:
