Swing shift has a $1.00/hour differential as a swing shift employee.
SCHEDULE:
Must be able to work the entire schedule of 2PM-10PM Monday through Friday.
Please note that this list is ILLUSTRATIVE only and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed by an incumbent in this role. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist press operators with setup, operation, and make-readies for printing presses, including plate mounting, ink adjustments, and quality checks
- Prepare and stage printing materials such as inks, coatings, substrates, and job bags with all required information (samples, proofs, color standards)
- Move completed loads to the cutting department staging area
- Monitor press operations for consistency and report deviations; record production data as needed
- Maintain and clean printing equipment, including presses, floors, and catwalks; perform basic maintenance and keep the pressroom organized
- Manage and replenish pressroom supplies, including chemicals, fountain solution, and coating overflow containers; remove old drums and maintain MSDS labels
- Operate the aerator to prep loads and use forklift as needed to retrieve printing supplies from storage
- Support press crews by filling in during absences or staffing shortages and completing tasks assigned by the lead Pressman
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate workflow and material needs and recycling processes.
- Perform all work in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, values, and standards of conduct.
- Follow safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees

Requirements PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively, and discern warning or emergency alarms, including forklift horns.
- Sufficient vision, with or without accommodation to review and read documents, reports, and other job-related information, and observe signage in the plant
- Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation to perform repetitive motions in fingering and hand/wrist/arm movements.
- Ability to frequently push/pull up to 100 lbs.; occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder.
- Ability to stand stationary for up to 2 hours continuously and up to 3 hours cumulatively.
- Ability to walk for up to 5.25 cumulative hours during shift duration.
- Sufficient body flexibility and balance which require repeated bending, stooping, and kneeling motions.
- Ability to bend and twist at the head, neck and waist.
- Ability to occasionally climbs stairs.
- Sufficient attention to concentrate and complete tasks.
- Typical working conditions are exposed to moderate noise but at times may be exposed to loud and excessive noise
