CNC Operator Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts to exact specifications
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate machining
• Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and adjustments to optimize performance
• Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality standards
• Document production data and follow established safety, compliance, and quality procedures
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve machining issues and improve processes

Required Skills

• CNC machine operation
• CNC setup and tooling
• Blueprint and technical drawing reading
• G-code or CNC programming fundamentals
