General Labor / Sanitation

General Labor / Sanitation - $19/hour Full-time;
Graveyard shift Standard schedule is 9pm to 5:30am, but hours may vary based on production needs. Overtime: 10 to 12 hour shifts as required. Weekends will be mandatory  are hiring a General Labor / Sanitation worker for a large food manufacturing facility that produces packaged baked goods and food products distributed nationwide. This is a third-shift temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a permanent employee!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of food production equipment and facility areas
• Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for cleaning
• Clean equipment using COP and CIP systems
• Monitor and test chemical concentrations and document results
• Maintain sanitation logs, charts, and required paperwork
• Inventory sanitation supplies and materials
• Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety guidelines
• Operate sanitation-related systems and equipment
• Assist with training new team members
• Cross-train in other plant areas as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to work overnight shifts and mandatory weekends
• Comfortable working in a food production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Previous sanitation, production, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
