Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Habitat for Humanity, we bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We believe in a world where everyone deserves a decent place to live. As a nonprofit housing organization, we partner with families in need of affordable home ownership—helping them build and purchase safe, energy-efficient homes. Through partnership hours, financial education, and affordable mortgages, we empower families to achieve strength, stability, and self‑reliance through shelter.

As a member of the Habitat team, you’ll play a direct role in transforming lives and strengthening communities. We hold high standards for performance and integrity, but our culture is grounded in humility, collaboration, and a deep commitment to our mission. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact through the power of home ownership, read on! As a Construction Crew Member, you’ll work closely with the Construction Supervisor and volunteer teams to support all phases of the homebuilding process.

This hands‑on role offers valuable experience in residential construction while building skills in teamwork, communication, and project coordination. You’ll contribute directly to Habitat for Humanity–Spokane’s mission by helping construct safe, affordable homes for families across Spokane County. A strong commitment to reliability, safety, and collaboration is essential for success in this role.

  • Previous trade or construction experience (preferred).

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
What we offer:
  • Transportation to and from the job site (if needed).
  • High‑impact projects that directly benefit the families we serve.
