Community Groups Coordinator

Position Summary:

The Community Groups Coordinator’s role is to cast vision, oversee, and care for the Community Groups ministry expression at Summit.

The Adult Ministries primarily serve adults who want to grow in their faith. We do so by creating clear pathways, content and opportunities to grow in spiritual maturity both individually and collectively, helping them take their next faith steps in gospel community.

• Lead and care for the Community Groups ministry at Summit
• Collaboratively work with the Adult Ministries team to provide all community groups with leadership and oversight, content, and vision for the ministry
• Provide structure for the ministry through organizational tools including Planning Center Groups, leader application processes, training schedules, etc.
• Care for Community Group leaders through the execution of trainings, onboarding, coaching, etc.
• Oversee the Community Group Leader Coaches
• Support additional Adult Ministries groups as needed (60ish+, Motherhood)

• Coordinate the coaching and development of leaders as needed

• Attend bi-monthly All-Staff meetings
• Attend weekly Adult Ministries Team meetings
• Attend 1+1 meetings with AM Team Lead as scheduled
• Serve on Sundays alongside other ministry teams as needed

• Provide pastoral care to congregants, as needed
• Contribute to all-staff events (Easter, Christmas, City Serve, Etc.)
