Position: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for High Acuity Summer Coverage

Are you a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment? We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional anesthesia care at Sacred Heart, a center renowned for its high trauma level and complex cases.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding setting, contributing to critical patient care during the busy summer months.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven expertise in trauma anesthesia, with top-tier trauma experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in anesthesia management during high-acuity procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work at least three shifts per week, with shift durations ranging from 8 to 12 hours, scheduled in advance.
  • Availability for the entire period from June 1, 2026, to September 4, 2026.
  • Ability to work at Sacred Heart and potentially at Holy Family, a satellite facility 15 minutes away, as needed.
Preferred Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in trauma centers.
  • Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar.
  • Experience with complex surgical procedures and emergent cases.
Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Anesthesia.
  • Current, valid CRNA certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia provider experience, with trauma experience highly advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
  • Active state licensure and certification as a CRNA.
  • Willingness and ability to travel or work at multiple facility sites as required.
  • Compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, including COVID-19 vaccination requirements (if applicable).
