Join Our Team as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Make a Difference in a High-Volume, High-Acuity Trauma Environment
We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide exceptional anesthesia services at Sacred Heart Hospital during the summer months. This critical role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, advanced surgical setting with a focus on trauma cases, where your expertise can significantly impact patient outcomes. Required Skills:
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and current state licensure
- Extensive trauma anesthesia experience, preferably in high-volume, high-acuity settings
- Proficiency in administering anesthesia across a broad range of surgical procedures
- Strong understanding of anesthesia protocols, patient monitoring, and emergency response
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Skills:
- Experience working in trauma centers or Level I/II trauma facilities
- Prior experience in academic medical centers or teaching hospitals
- Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing with specialization in anesthesia
- Minimum of 3 years of CRNA experience in trauma or similar high-pressure environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently
- Availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per week, with shifts lasting 8-12 hours, scheduled based on procedure needs
- Commitment to work from June 1, 2026, through September 4, 2026
- Flexibility to work at Sacred Heart Hospital and satellite facility Holy Family (located approximately 15 minutes apart)
- No guarantee of hours; scheduled shifts are mandatory, with overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Must adhere to all facility-specific policies and state/federal regulations
