Travel RN - Operating Room
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with neurosurgical expertise for a travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Teaching Hospital in Washington State.

- Work setting: 629‑bed short‑term acute care hospital, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Teaching hospital environment
- Operating Room unit focused on neurosurgical cases including craniotomies and complex spine procedures
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Day shift, 5×8‑hour shifts (6:45 AM – 2:45 PM)
- Floating to other services within the main OR and between facilities within Washington State as needed
- On‑call once per week, with one on‑call weekend every six weeks (weekends required only for on‑call)
- Block schedules not required
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
- Full competency in neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for neurosurgical procedures, with occasional floating to other OR service lines
- Any color scrubs are permitted for RNs
- First‑time travelers are welcome to apply
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be submitted upfront as post‑offer RTO requests may be denied
- Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
- No parking fee at the facility
