American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with neurosurgical expertise for a travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Teaching Hospital in Washington State.

• Work setting: 629‑bed short‑term acute care hospital, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Teaching hospital environment
• Operating Room unit focused on neurosurgical cases including craniotomies and complex spine procedures
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Day shift, 5×8‑hour shifts (6:45 AM – 2:45 PM)
• Floating to other services within the main OR and between facilities within Washington State as needed
• On‑call once per week, with one on‑call weekend every six weeks (weekends required only for on‑call)
• Block schedules not required
• Charting in Epic (experience required)

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
• Full competency in neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for neurosurgical procedures, with occasional floating to other OR service lines
• Any color scrubs are permitted for RNs
• First‑time travelers are welcome to apply
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be submitted upfront as post‑offer RTO requests may be denied
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
• No parking fee at the facility
