RN Hospice; Per Diem

Overview

Per diem/on call RN Nurse Clinician position. Provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families, assessing needs, planning, coordinating, implementing, and revising the Plan of Care. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group to anticipate changes, avoid crises, promote choice, ensure continuity of care, and enhance quality of life.

Shift, schedule, and caseload may vary according to assignment.

Provide holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and families; assess patient needs; plan, coordinate, and implement the plan of care; collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice group; anticipate changes; avoid crises; promote choice; ensure continuity of care; and enhance quality of life.

• Associate's Degree Nursing or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing or equivalent education/experience.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

• 1 year of nursing experience; pediatric nursing experience required for pediatric programs.
• Prior experience in hospice, homecare, long‑term care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology.
