Travel Wound Care RN

Position Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Wound Care in Spokane, Washington. This position will start on 06/29/2026 for a duration of 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts, under a travel employment type.

As an RN specializing in wound care, you will assess, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds to promote healing and prevent complications. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized wound care plans.

• Conduct thorough wound assessments including size, depth, and signs of infection
• Develop and implement wound care treatment plans based on best practices
• Perform wound cleaning, dressing changes, debridement, and other therapeutic procedures
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, care techniques, and nutrition
• Coordinate with physicians, physical therapists and dietitians to optimize healing
• Document wound care procedures, patient responses and outcomes accurately
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound management
• Provide guidance and training to nursing staff and aides on wound care practices

• Minimum one year of experience as an RN in a wound‑care setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligibility for state licensure. Additional certifications may be required.
