We are now hiring Licensed Practical Nurses at Avalon Care Center graduate nurses welcome to apply!
Wage range: $40.00 - $48.45 per hour. Shift differential: $1.50 for evenings, $2.50 for night shift.
Full-time Day: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Full-time Evening: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
PRN also available
We offer a regular work schedule at one location, so you can stop driving around town to work.

Part‑time staff are eligible for all benefits except Medical. On‑Call staff are eligible only for 401k.
Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or other health care provider authorized by the state, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the development, implementation, and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents. The LPN will practice within the legal boundaries for practical nursing authorized by the state for delivery of patient care and related services.
Qualifications- Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
- Demonstrates understanding that state and federal rules and regulations govern the practices within the facility.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
- Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements of either having been vaccinated or presenting documentation needed for a medical or religious exemption.
- Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
