Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse for a 13‑week contract assignment in Spokane, Washington. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients within an acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring positive patient outcomes for children and their families in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and other diagnostic data specific to pediatric populations.
- Provide age‑appropriate patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergent situations and provide critical care interventions as needed for pediatric patients.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for pediatric patients and their families.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a compact state license.
- Minimum of Not specified years of recent experience as a Pediatric Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
