Location: Spokane, WA

Agency: United Health Care Staffing, Inc.

Pay: $70 to $74 per hour

Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Start Date: 5/26/2026

About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Hospice RN in Spokane, Washington, 99016.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate skilled hospice care to patients in their homes.
  • Conduct intake assessments and interviews to understand patient needs.
  • Manage symptoms like pain, nausea, and pressure ulcers with expert interventions.
  • Offer end-of-life counseling and support to patients and families.
  • Educate families on care plans and Medicare regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient support.
Qualifications
  • 1 year of skilled hospice experience required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Pending license accepted.
  • Own reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable with occasional drives up to 50 miles.
Education
  • RN licensure in Washington (pending accepted).
Knowledge & Skills
  • HCHB charting system expertise.
  • EPIC charting.
  • Pain assessment and management including breakthrough dosing.
  • Symptom management for altered mental status, anorexia, nausea, and more.
  • End-of-life care including death pronouncement and family support.
  • Cultural awareness and patient/family education.
