We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Supervisor, RN to lead and coordinate daily nursing operations within our specialty practice. This role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting physicians in delivering exceptional outcomes. Shift: Days — No nights, weekends, or holidays

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff
  • Oversee clinical operations and address nursing practice issues
  • Perform direct patient care functions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Provide professional nursing care in alignment with established standards
  • Assist physicians with patient treatments and clinical procedures
  • Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Foster a caring, friendly, and professional environment for patients, families, and staff
  • Ensure adherence to Mercy’s philosophy and values in all interactions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; supervisory experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong clinical and patient care expertise
  • Knowledge of medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
  • Ability to educate patients and support self‑care programs
  • Skill in performing and assisting with medical procedures
  • Calm and effective response in emergency situations
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and clinical guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Basic computer skills for clinical documentation and data entry
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
