Location: Spokane Valley

We are seeking a dedicated part‑time Infusion Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The role involves providing professional nursing care for patients undergoing infusion therapy, following established standards and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Administers chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, hydration, and other medications under the direction and supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner.
  • Assesses and records patient data pre‑ and post‑infusion therapy, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
  • Assesses patients for changes in condition.
  • Maintains knowledge of reimbursement procedures.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of ambulatory infusion pump use and maintenance, cleans pumps after use, and documents pump usage properly.
  • Facilitates dose modification by assessing patient, labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting providers regarding dosage modifications and symptom management; performs venipuncture, accesses implanted ports, and maintains central line catheter devices.
  • Administers all medications using correct medication, dosage, route, time, and technique, displaying appropriate technical skills for chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other medications.
  • Programs portable infusion pumps for continuous drug delivery and provides instruction to patients and/or caregivers on pump use at home.
  • Triages patient phone calls as needed.
  • Manages patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy.
  • Provides nursing coverage for the satellite offices as needed.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
  • RN state license and current registration with the state board of nursing in the state of practice.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must maintain continuing education requirements.
