Requirements
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- Required:
LDRP or NICU experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN (Beginner/Intermediate indicated)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care to neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults in a mother/baby setting.
- Support labor, postpartum, and antepartum patients, including couplet care.
- Conduct assessments of newborns, focusing on thermoregulation and newborn resuscitation.
- Monitor fetal health using external and internal monitoring, interpreting FHR patterns.
- Assist in C-section procedures and recovery care.
- Administer IV therapy, blood products, and manage medications for labor and postpartum care.

Two requests submitted at time of submission.
- Modules:
Typically ~16 hours pre-start (non-billable); >20 hours requires approval.
- No fee for parking.
- Dress code:
Any color scrubs; surgical scrubs provided when needed.
