As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion Suites, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Providing direct patient care by administering biologics and other infusible or injectable medications as ordered, and delivering appropriate patient education
- Starting and discontinuing IV for infusion therapies
- Accessing PIV and ports
- Preparing (mixing) and administering medications
- Traveling to other location(s) on occasion
- Participating in performance improvement activities to enhance care delivery and suggesting continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhering to standards of safety and infection control in the delivery of patient care
- Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of and compliance with all policies and procedures related to job duties
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience
- Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
- Clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
- Eagerness to learn and grow with our rapidly expanding organization
- Ability to collaborate with others and provide outstanding customer service
- Current nursing license for applicable state
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
